The Urban Logs Collection from Ilan Dei Studio is the latest line of furniture to be released in their limited edition collection. Focusing on “urban renewal” each piece gives new life to urban and suburban trees that have been previously removed and are destined to become waste or firewood. The furniture was originally utilized in A. Kinney Court, one of Ilan Dei Studio’s recent interior design projects.

A. Kinney Court is a concept fashion boutique and optical eyewear gallery founded by Garrett Leight at 1423 Abbot Kinney Blvd in Venice, CA. Ilan Dei Studio envisioned and created the entire space taking inspiration from the Eams molded plywood process, as well as drawing cues from the natural forms of the near by sand and ocean.

Garrett Leight, who is the son of Oliver Peoples founder Larry Leight, and A Kinney Court were featured in the New York Times Moment blog.
